ABOUT OUR DIOCESE

The Chaldean Diocese of St. Thomas the Apostle is an Eastern Rite diocese (eparchy) under the Chaldean Catholic Patriarchate of Babylon in
Baghdad, Iraq.

 

Our diocese currently serves about 180,000 U.S. Catholics in the eastern half of the country—with Metro Detroit having the highest concentration of Chaldeans in the United States.
